Quantasia SA - Coaching and Corporate Training
UNFCCC – United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The Client: UNFCCC – United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The UNFCCC – United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is the United Nations body responsible for managing and coordinating global efforts to address climate change.

Based in Bonn and operating on a global scale, the organization works within a highly political, multilateral, and regulated environment, where environmental challenges intersect with complex dynamics of governance, diplomacy, and international policy-making.

The Collaboration with Quantasia

Since 2024, Quantasia SA has been a strategic partner to UNFCCC, delivering an integrated intervention combining Leadership Coaching and Strategic & Cultural Transformation Advisory for the Management Team and the Executive Secretary, Simon Stiell.

Leadership Coaching is conducted directly by Claudia Vece, CEO and Founder of Quantasia, who operates under a highly confidential and high-responsibility mandate, supporting the organization’s leadership in decision-making processes, transformation journeys, and strategic alignment.

In parallel, together with the Quantasia team, she designs and delivers strategic workshops focused on organizational and cultural transformation, as well as Management Team facilitation, aimed at strengthening alignment, enhancing collaboration, and improving the effectiveness of decision-making processes in a highly complex environment.

In collaboration with the organization’s HR team, Quantasia also supports Succession Planning and Knowledge Transfer initiatives, ensuring organizational continuity, preserving institutional knowledge, and enabling structured transitions in key roles.

The Challenge

Within a complex and multi-layered system such as the United Nations, strengthening leadership cannot be limited to individual development; it requires a systemic evolution in the way people think, collaborate, and make decisions.

Key challenges include:

  • managing highly sensitive political and institutional dynamics
  • navigating the cultural and organizational diversity of the Management Team
  • ensuring coherence, alignment, and high-quality decision-making in a rapidly evolving global context
  • evolving operating models to effectively support the increasing implementation of climate commitments
  • adapting ways of working to maintain efficiency and effectiveness
  • creating forward-looking spaces that enable alignment on priorities and the path ahead
  • implementing structured Succession Planning and Knowledge Transfer processes, managed through a project-based approach, to ensure continuity, preserve know-how, and support transitions in key roles

  • identify gaps and strategic priorities
  • realign vision, ways of working, and responsibilities
