The advent of the digital age, with the spread of automation and artificial intelligence, is only accelerating the importance of Soft Skills, since it is precisely those skills that robots cannot acquire.

The WEF, World Economic Forum, on the other hand, has indicated the 10 most requested Soft Skills starting from 2020:

  2. Critical thinking (ability to interpret and evaluate the importance of information);
  3. Creativity;
  4. People management (ability to manage a team, motivating its members);
  5. Ability to work in a team;
  6. Emotional intelligence (empathic ability to recognize, understand and interpret the emotions of others);
  7. Decision making (ability to decide independently after listening to everyone);
  8. Service orientation (ability to be helpful, caring, attentive and collaborative);
  9. Negotiation (to create economic and relational well-being);
  10. Cognitive flexibility (ability to implement different behaviors based on changing contexts and problems).
