How to increase self-awareness

Self-observation is an act of inner awareness that allows us to attentively record the processes taking place in our inner world. This practice creates positive effects and brings significant benefits in personal development if practised consciously every day.

Willingness and awareness of what one wants to achieve enable one to engage in this challenging exercise of presence and self-observation.

Through this practice we exercise the role of the spectator of our mental activity. By observing and recording what happens in the present moment we become aware of aspects, attitudes and dynamics of ourselves that we appreciate or dislike. Recording what we observe leads to an awareness of ‘how we are functioning’ and opens us up to the dimension of transformation and personal growth.

Studying ourselves and the multiple roles we play in our daily lives is fundamental to self-knowledge, which is the starting point for the path to liberation and wisdom.

However, self-observation may have limitations if carried out without guidance or a comparison group, as the processes observed may be influenced by the act of observation itself. Nevertheless, self-observation remains one of the most direct ways to access and modify inner processes, as are also neuro-emotional transformation, meditation, and yoga practice.

How to break free from conditioning and false perceptions

Practising the exercise of presence and self-observation allows us to pick up illusions, false beliefs and false perceptions, shedding light on our inner nature and revealing the external influences that often guide our actions and choices.

Daily practice makes us see how we function internally and with others and how this affects our lives, our relationships, and the achievement of our results. Continuous self-observation pushes us beyond inner accounting (e.g. right or wrong), allowing us to enter a dimension of being where judgement and polarisation do not happen, but there is a state of full presence, mastery and awareness of self and how we create our lives.

This practice is fundamental to our inner development as we can overcome our limitations and become more aware of ourselves and the world around us.

How to participate in the ‘Quantasia Sadhana’ practice group, what it is and how it works

The ‘Sadhana of Quantasia’ is a practice group dedicated to the exploration of self-observation and inner awareness. This group provides a safe and supportive environment for those who wish to deepen their understanding of themselves and the world around them through daily practice.

The group meets regularly for guided practice sessions, during which tools and techniques for self-observation and awareness development are shared. Through meditation, reflection and sharing exercises, participants are invited to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviour in a context of mutual support and understanding.

If you are interested in participating in the Quantasia Sadhana, please contact us to request a registration form.
